Composite dental fillings are used to restore teeth that have cavities due to tooth decay. The composite material is made of tooth-colored dental resin. This means that your filling will match your smile for a seamless look after treatment. You won’t need to worry about grayish discoloration associated with metal fillings. At our office, we exclusively use metal-free composite dental fillings.
Root canal therapy is usually required if an untreated cavity or an oral injury damages the hard outer layers of enamel and dentin of your tooth. This leaves the vulnerable interior of your tooth exposed and prone to infection. Root canal therapy involves opening up a small hole in your tooth to clean and restore the interior, then filling the empty space with a special dental material to support your tooth’s structure. This treatment helps preserve your tooth and gives you almost immediate relief from the pain and discomfort of an infection.
Dental crowns are shaped just like a natural tooth. They are designed to fit over your existing tooth and support its structure after it has been damaged. Dental crowns are a versatile restorative treatment, and they are used to cover up teeth that are severely decayed or broken. By covering up the remaining enamel, dental crowns restore the natural function and appearance of your tooth, and also help prevent further damage and deterioration of your enamel.
Partial dentures may be a good option for you if you are missing only a few of your teeth. These dentures use a metal and plastic framework that supports multiple false teeth. They use clips that attach to your healthy teeth to hold your false teeth in place.
Full dentures may be a good option for you if you are missing most or all of your teeth as they require the removal of all remaining teeth. They fit tightly over your gums, and are the most affordable and fastest way to completely restore your smile.
Restorative care helps you regain both the natural beauty of your smile and the natural function of your bite. If you have a damaged or missing tooth, this can affect your self-esteem, and even your day-to-day ability to do things like chew and bite. With restorative dentistry from Dr. Justin, you can restore both your appearance and the functionality of your mouth. Restorative care helps you avoid further dental complications associated with tooth loss and damage.
In addition, it can help you get relief from pain and sensitivity caused by a serious cavity or infected tooth. Restorative treatments also help improve your self-esteem, as your smile will look beautiful once again.
"This was our first appointment seeing the new dentist, Dr. Justin and the new hygienist. They were both amazing! Very personable, professional, knowledgeable, and just overall fantastic! My 9 year old clicked right away with the hygienist. Love the new coffee bar in the lobby! Who knew Dr. Justin was so crafty?!
Katrina does an amazing job with all of the insurance issues! She is very proficient in her job! Rebecca is another amazing employee!! She is very personable and genuinely cares about the patients!!
Do you need a new dentist, try Genoa Smiles!!"
"Dr. Justin has taken over from Dr. Dave. Don't worry, he provides the same excellent, caring service that I am used to having. He explains options to you and involves you in your care. He has just expanded his hours which really helps me meet my appointments. As a retired educator, he would be excellent with small children just starting at the dentist through post high school. I have friends that have already transferred to him and are very pleased. I drive 45 minutes to have him as my dentist. I know of others that drive even longer for his great dental care."
